Dr. Charleen Sculley is a passionate advocate, educator, and leader dedicated to advancing equity and access for Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals. With a background in social work and a strong commitment to family-centered practice, she focuses on supporting families as they navigate language development, communication choices, and access to resources.

Dr. Sculley’s work centers on addressing language deprivation and promoting early, accessible language for Deaf children. She has developed practical tools and resources to guide social workers, educators, and families in making informed decisions that support healthy cognitive, social, and emotional development.
